Overview

Make Keito scriptable

Use the Keito CLI to find projects, control timers, and record completed work without leaving the terminal. The same commands can return structured results for scripts and CI jobs.

The CLI uses the access of the person who signed in and keeps credentials out of the repository. Scripts can find the right project and task before they record anything.

Key features

  • Sign in without storing credentials in a repository
  • Find projects and tasks from the terminal
  • Start, check, stop, or record work
  • Use the same commands in scripts and CI

How it works

Use Keito from the terminal in three steps

  1. 1

    Install the CLI

Install the Keito command-line tool on the computer or runner where it will be used.

  2. 2

Connect the Keito account and workspace the commands should use.

  3. 3

    Try the first command

Find a project, then start a timer or record a completed session.
