The Keito Power-Up is now in Trello's public directory. Start timers, log completed time and keep card references in Keito on Solo, Pro and Business.

Time Tracking

The Keito Power-Up is now available in Trello’s public directory. Add it to a board to start timers and log completed time directly from cards. It is included on Solo, Pro and Business, including active trials.

Keep managing the work in Trello. The time is recorded in Keito against a project and task, with a link back to the card, ready for your reports and billing workflow.

Start a timer from the work you are doing

Open a Trello card, connect your Keito account, and choose an accessible project and task. Start a timer while you work, or add time manually for work you have already completed. Keito remembers your selections and saves the card link with the entry.

If you already have a Keito timer running, you choose whether to switch to the new card or keep the existing timer. Moving a card between lists does not start or stop a timer automatically.

See card time without sharing private records

The card’s Keito section shows recent entries and the time totals your account is allowed to see. You can also open the board report to see authorised totals across up to 200 visible cards.

Time and billing data stay in Keito and follow your Keito permissions. Board members who have not connected an authorised Keito account cannot see your time badges, entries, totals or report data. Keito does not write time, notes, billing data or project names to shared Trello storage.

Use the time in Keito

Time recorded from a card becomes part of your normal Keito time records. Use it in reports and invoices, with timesheet approvals where your plan includes them. You do not need to copy durations from Trello into a spreadsheet before billing.

The Power-Up does not import your boards or create Keito projects and tasks automatically. Set up the projects and tasks you bill against in Keito, then select them on your cards. If you are moving from Harvest, you can import your Harvest data before tracking new work with the Power-Up.

Add Keito to your board

  1. Open Keito in the Trello Power-Up directory and choose Add Power-Up.
  2. Select the board where you want to track time.
  3. Choose Connect Keito, sign in, and return to Trello.
  4. Open a card, select a Keito project and task, and start a timer or add completed time.

You need permission to add Power-Ups to the board and an active Keito workspace. Each team member connects their own account, and each browser or device signs in separately. No API key or browser extension is required.

The Power-Up supports Trello web and the macOS desktop app. Trello mobile apps are not supported in this version.

Read the Trello setup guide for board defaults, card totals, disconnection and troubleshooting, or add Keito to Trello now.
