Partner Program Overview
The Keito Partner Program is for accountants and advisers, integration builders, and people who recommend Keito to growing teams. This page explains how the program works. To apply, use the form on the partner program page.
The three tracks
A partnership can cover more than one track. Choose the one that best describes your business when you apply and tell us what else you have in mind.
| Track | Best for | Typical work | Start with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accounting & Advisory | Accountants, bookkeepers and fractional finance teams who advise service businesses | Recommending Keito, planning client migrations, supporting clients through accountant access | Working with client workspaces |
| Integration | Software companies, developers and automation specialists | Building and operating a connection between Keito and another platform | Partner integrations |
| Referral | Consultants, creators, communities and publishers | Introducing businesses that would benefit from Keito | Brand and disclosure guidelines |
How to apply
- Complete the application on the partner program page. Choose your main track and describe the clients, audience or integration you have in mind.
- We review every application individually and contact you about next steps. Some applications need a conversation about fit before we decide.
- If we agree to work together, we send you a written partner agreement. Recognised introductions and any rewards start only under a signed agreement.
Do not include client lists, financial records, logins or API keys in your application. If we need those details, we will arrange a secure way to share them.
Your partner agreement
Every approved partner signs a written agreement before we recognise introductions. It sets out:
- the tracks you are approved for and what each one involves;
- how introductions are registered, confirmed and attributed;
- any reward terms, including which customers qualify and how payment works;
- confidentiality, data protection, and your responsibilities when you work with Keito customers;
- how you may use the Keito name and how you disclose the relationship.
Reward terms are agreed privately during onboarding and are confidential to each partner. They are not published.
How introductions are recognised
Recognising an introduction is a deliberate review, never automatic.
- You register the introduction with your program contact: the organisation, its website domain, the person you introduced, and when and how you introduced them.
- We check it. We look for an existing customer, an open sales conversation, or another partner’s earlier introduction. If we cannot register it, we tell you why.
- The business signs up. Where needed, we confirm with the business that you introduced it.
- We record the attribution. A customer is attributed to one partner at a time, and we keep a record of every decision and its reason.
Referral partners may also receive a short referral code that customers can quote when they sign up or contact us. A code helps us match an introduction. It never overrides an earlier introduction by someone else.
Approved partners receive a regular statement listing their introductions and attributed customers. Customers appear by a reference rather than by their account details.
What partnership does not include
- No access to client data. Referring a business, or being approved as a partner, never gives you access to that business’s workspace. Clients decide who they invite and can remove access at any time. See Working with client workspaces.
- No extra product permissions. Partnership does not change your role in any workspace, issue API credentials, or approve an app.
- No self-service app registration. Integration partners agree an authorisation approach with us during technical review. See Partner integrations.
- No public listing without consent. We do not name partners or publish partner stories without written consent from the partner and, where relevant, the customer.
- No exclusivity. You may recommend other tools alongside Keito.
